Operating Principle of Gears

Gears have function of motion mechanism for machines, equipment and mechanisms. Gears clamp each other when rotating, transferring power between shafts. They have a wide area of use and almost every machine requires gear mechanism. On each machine where gear wheels are used, gears are required for performing rotational motion in straight or reverse direction. Among the gears, spur gears are generally used most. They are preferred as being more cost-effective and compliant with many machines. Gear to be used is determined according to need of each machine, thus providing use for long time.
